Adding a Set of Drawers or a Dresser to Your Closet

I find that adding a dresser, or a set of drawers to my closet is a great way to make the most of your space! I personally don't have a big closet, so this uses valuable space on the ground to my advantage. Depending on how big your dresser is, you can put anything from shoes to bras in there. Its a great way to organize things that might get cluttered and messy on the ground, or in a basket.

Never Leave a Room Empty-Handed

This tip is extremely simple, but really easy to avoid. In my experience, everything should have a place where it "lives". This is pretty essential, because otherwise, you'll end up having clutter everywhere because a certain object doesn't have a place to go, so you just set it down wherever. To avoid this, everything in you home should have a place to go, whether it is a visible spot (like on a shelf or a table), or a hidden spot (like in a closet or a cabinet).
Sometimes though, life gets in the way, and you take something out to use, and don't end up putting it back.

Every time you leave a room put something (or a few things) back into its "home" so the room looks clean and does not get cluttered.

I love to organize scarves by making them a decoration. I tie them to my closet rod in knot like this:
